Hmm, since the concerns expressed by Ralph seem to be at least as itchy as mine, and the status quo today is that we have sections, it seems reasonable to keep it like that. Fixing my itches would create itches with man(1)'s -s, and I don't like that.

Assuming we'll have to live with that, maybe your explanation serves as a consolation. :)

So, I dismiss my prompt to reform the old non-recursive terminology.
