Hi Michael, I've seen there's a mix in this case. Some variable declaration use 'extern' (see invocation_name.3), and some don't (see malloc_hook.3). What would you do about it? I prefer using 'extern' as variables declared in headers have to use it, but have no strong feelings about either form.
