As I've noted at least twice already, I do not want patches
that change to "one-font macros". The two-font macros that
this patch changes are harmless, and applying such patches
has the potential to break other patches that may be pending.
Please do not send me such patches.

However, the other changes that you sent are useful,
and really should have been put into a separate patch (or
patches). I've applied those changes (where I could see them), 
manually.
