Bug in `man sched_setaffinity`

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all!

In the EXAMPLE section of `man sched_setaffinity` manual page ca nbe
found (on Ubuntu-Bionic-current).
----  snip  ---
           $ lscpu | grep -i 'core.*:|socket'
           Thread(s) per core:    2
           Core(s) per socket:    2
           Socket(s):             1
----  snip  ---
However, one needs *egrep* (and not "only" *grep) for the '|'
to work.

MfG,
	Bernd
