what is the *canonical* git repo for man pages?

  not sure if i should have just mentioned this to michael offline,
but if you google for the git repo for man pages, you are presented
with two somewhat conflicting bits of info as to the location of the
canonical source:

https://www.kernel.org/doc/man-pages/download.html
http://linux-man-pages.blogspot.ca/2011/09/relocated-git-repository-for-man-pages.html

  again, just an observation.
