Hi,

This is my first contribution to Linux man-pages. So kindly correct me
if I have made any mistakes (w.r.t protocols).

I have been working on the man pages (version 3.43) for the following APIs:

pthread_setname_np
pthread_getname_np

Currently I have attached the man page document of pthread_setname_np
API. Will submit ptthread_getname_np after I get some review comments
for this one.

I looked at the following sources on the Internet, plus the
glibc-2.16.0 source code, to gather information about these APIs.

Find attached source file for the man page along with the groff
generated file. Please review the same, and let me know your comments.

Thanks,
Chandan
