SInce its been almost a year since I last saw anything on the subject, is there any work in implementing TLS in the kernel? I've been doing some research, and as far as I can tell, the TLS API is ~5-6 syscalls, so I'm curious to know if anyone has done any work in this regard. It would be nice to have an up-to-date glibc ...
