I was wondering where the Blizzard 1230-IV SCSI support has gone from the
newest 2.6 kernel versions. Has it been merged with some other drivers, or has
it been just omitted?

It used the old NCR53C9x driver core, which was replaced by the new esp_scsi
driver core. Hence the driver has been removed, and should be ported to
use the new esp_scsi driver core.

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But
when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.
