Is setjmp/longjmp allowed in kernel code? Is it even implemented?
No and no.
The reason I ask is that the only working Mac pseudo DMA implementation I have found uses it (in NetBSD/FreeBSD, sys/arch/mac68k/obio/esp.c) to longjmp from the bus error handler back to the driver. My driver doesn't use that algorithm and doesn't work :-( Anyone have any suggestions?
See <asm/uaccess.h> for how to use exception handlers.
