The DNS problems are mostly resolved (still waiting for the secondary to come online). So the mac.linux-m68k.org web site is up again. I started looking at this in the course of updating the status page. I'm hoping to upload something soon (though I'm stuck with dialup for the moment). I've a few questions relating to the mac.linux-m68k.org domain that I wanted to ask the list (I don't know where else to ask...) - Would it be worth creating a sourceforge mailing list for the mac port? If we can't get hold of the subscriber addresses for the mac list (which is defunct since a year ago), is this list (linux-m68k) a better substitute than a new list on sourceforge? - The DNS zone I put together has no MX records. Does anyone know whether there is a mail service for the mac.linux-m68k.org domain? I'm guessing it was on lists.purplehat.net (defunct) which ran the old mailing list, linux-mac68k@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ... Probably we don't need any MX records (e.g. blah@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx should be sufficient for devs/lists), and the old addresses could be removed from the web site (?) - The DNS zone that I put together also lacks an A record for ftp.mac.linux-m68k.org. Does anyone know who hosts that server (does it exist)? Perhaps those dead links should just disappear from the site. - I plan to tag the /www.mac.linux-m68k.org directory in the sourceforge CVS repo (it seems to be an old version of the site...) and then commit the the current site, before I make any changes to it. Does this sound ok? -f - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-m68k" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
