I'm wondering why this is part of this driver? I suppose there's no
such folder yet, although Pavel suggested. Would it make sense to put
that Kconfig menu entry and folder creation to a separate commit?

I did not review thouroughly, but in my mail the indentation looks
wrong. Did checkpatch complain?
