Hello.

I have been searching for forum special for framebuffer on linux. But found no one so I write here.
I have laptop Acer Extensa 5220 with Intel 965GM X3100 graphics card.

I have these problems:
1) I must start kernel with vga=0x362 video=intelfb:mode=1280x800
otherwise the video mode is not changed by intelfb.ko.
   Dmesg show this:
Non-CRT device is enabled (LVDS). Disabling mode switching.

Does this mean on LCD display of laptop mode can be change by intelfb.ko?
Or can I change this behaviour someway?

2) If I omit noaccel for kernel cmd line (e.g. now I have vga=0x362 video=intelfb:mode=1280x800,noaccel)
The texts in booting are showed but by scrolling they are scrumbled.
It looks like some parts of previous line keeps on actual line.
If needed on 16.9.2008 I can attach a screenshot of machine

Thanks for any replay.
