[PATCH 4/5] trivial: convert comma to semicolon

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

From: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@xxxxxxx>

Replace a comma between expression statements by a semicolon.

The patch only addresses cases where this pattern appears after another
complete statement or at the top of a block, to ensure that the expression
statements do not form an if branch or loop body that would require adding
braces.

Apart from two spacing changes to satisfy checkpatch, this patch is
entirely machine generated.

A simplified version of the semantic patch that performs this
transformation is as follows: (http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/)

// <smpl>

|

|

)

// </smpl>
