[PATCH] [SCSI] lpfc: GFP_KERNEL malloc with lock held

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

From: Thomas Meyer <thomas@xxxxxxxx>

Find functions that refer to GFP_KERNEL but are called with locks held.
The proposed change of converting the GFP_KERNEL is not necessarily the
correct one. It may be desired to unlock the lock, or to not call the
function under the lock in the first place.

The semantic patch that makes this output is available
 in scripts/coccinelle/locks/call_kern.cocci.

More information about semantic patching is available at
 http://coccinelle.lip6.fr/
