[PATCH v3 2/2] Input: add support for Azoteq IQS7222A/B/C

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This patch adds support for the Azoteq IQS7222A/B/C family of
capacitive touch controllers.

Signed-off-by: Jeff LaBundy <jeff@xxxxxxxxxxx>
---
Changes in v3:
 - Corrected implicit sign conversion in error paths of iqs7222_force_comms()
   and iqs7222_read_burst()
 - Updated iqs7222_read_burst() and iqs7222_write_burst() to accept number of
   registers rather than number of bytes
 - Updated iqs7222_write_burst() to use a DMA-safe buffer
 - Updated iqs7222_irq_poll() to accept a variable timeout
 - Moved ATI handling to iqs7222_ati_trigger()
 - Added more helpful error messages throughout

Changes in v2:
 - Added support for IQS7222B v1.43+ and IQS7222C v2.06+
 - Added I2C retry erratum
 - Simplified logic in iqs7222_dev_info()
