Keyboard issues with Lenovo E585

Note that a lot of people already say this issue has been resolved for
them -- I think there's something different about my setup, perhaps a
slightly different keyboard.

I have updated the bios to the latest version (1.48), and have updated
the trackpoint drivers to the latest version (1.0.0.4 via the Lenovo
website, but 1.0.0.38 according to the installer itself).

External keyboard works fine.
Two separate, brand-new laptops exhibit this behavior.

Behavior: Key-Up events don't always occur. Keyboard has
intermittent lag, and when errors occur, it's during this lag. Giving
it a bunch of keypresses to process triggers the issue.
