A few nitpicks, otherwise looks good. I must confess this driver is
depressing and we could surely simplify it a lot by rewriting their
report descriptors.

Please don't. HID should not directly use the transport layer as it

I'd rather not have the magic '+ 30' here. Please add it when
processing USB_DEVICE_ID_APPLE_MAGICTRACKPAD2, and also explain where
this constant comes from.

As mentioned at the beginning, can you detect this based on the
application of the HID device, or the usage? It would allow to replay
the device without crashing the entire system. Worth case, if the
application can't help you here, looking at the report descriptor
should provide the information.
