[PATCH] HID: hidraw: Improve a size determination in two functions

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

From: Markus Elfring <elfring@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Date: Tue, 24 Oct 2017 20:52:19 +0200

* Replace the specification of data structures by pointer dereferences
as the parameter for the operator "sizeof" to make the corresponding size
determination a bit safer according to the Linux coding style convention.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

* Return directly after a call of the function "kzalloc" failed
at the beginning of the function "hidraw_open".

* Delete the jump target "out" which became unnecessary
  with this refactoring.
