Hello, I'm reporting this bug on a Synaptics touchpad not being configured properly on a HP 2-in-1. Bug was initially open on Launchpad for Ubuntu kernel, but it's also present on the latest mainline kernel (4.8.0rc5) so I was asked to open it here.
