You can easily test it by using the following commands: $ sudo su # rmmod hid-multitouch usbhid ; modprobe usbhid quirks=0x25aa:0x8883:0x8 Then, you should not have the error "usb_submit_urb(ctrl) failed: -1", and your device may work. If it's not working, we a=will have to study the protocol in depth. if the error is still there, then add your device with the HID_QUIRK_NO_GET to the list in drivers/hid/usbhid/hid-quirks.c and load this freshly compiled usbhid.
