This set of patches is now confirmed to work on various models of the UL30, a K60IJ, and an UL80V-B2. I also got a chance to test the modifications on an EeePc, where things still Just Work, just as without the patches applied. -- BOFH excuse #121: halon system went off and killed the operators.
