From: Arnaud Patard <arnaud.patard@xxxxxxxxxxx> S3C24XX touchscreen driver, originally written by Arnaud Patard and other contributors. This driver is the version from the Simtec Electronics tree, and as such is the best place to start and thus proposed to be merged into the linux input system. The clock should really be managed by the core adc layer but we have yet to add any guarantees about keeping the clock enabled to allow the touchscreen to function when it is registered. 2) Currently the only registers that the touchscreen driver touches are the ones specifically for the touchscreen, but this stil involves the mapping of the ADC block the core driver has already mapped for itself. We could look at adding an API to allow the touchscreen driver to talk to the registers via the core ADC driver, or just move the necessary functionality into the core driver.
