Installing Montecitos in HP rx2620

Apologies for the not-strictly-Linux-related question, but I figure
people on this list will know.

The guide for installing Montecitos in rx2620...

http://docs.hp.com/en/AD117-9009A/ch01s07.html

... refers to an "8 wire to 6 wire adapter cable". I don't have one of
these handy, can anyone confirm for me that this flips the polarity from
+ve on the latch side to +ve on the non-latch side? The two connectors
mate without it, but it seems like the power pod might be plugged in
backwards (ouch).

Thanks,
Matt
