We have been running into some odd panics during installation of the most recent Fedora ia64 builds (with kernel-2.6.17-1.2630.fc6). The problems range from random panics to anaconda failures to hangs. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=204638 So far we have not been able to reproduce any of these failures outside of the installer (i.e. if we update a previously installed system to this kernel all is well).
