Hi Alan,

Looks pretty clean to me.

Comments inline on attribute formats and name of attributes.

I'd like to see the range setting moved over to values
in lux as you have done for the  read back.  The naming issue
is just a suggestion that might make things a little clearer.

The lack of matching of the sensing range store input (magic numbers)
with the output (4000 or 64000) could do with unifying.  Perhaps this interface
could take one of those two values with either the [] notation to say 
which or an als_sensing_range_available attribute to say which ones exist.

Could we naming the sensing range so that it is clearly associated with
the lux_output?  Perhaps lux_output_range?

Why output? Surely this is an input as far as the machine with the sensor
is concerned?  Perhaps switch to the _input convention of hwmon for this.
