Why!?

You can create a definition and reuse it. Something like this:

$defs:
  pin-node:
    type: object
    properties:
      ...

patternProperties:
  '-state$':
    oneOf:
      - $ref: #/$defs/pin-node

      - patternProperties:
          '.*':
            $ref: #/$defs/pin-node
