I think there's a terminology issue here. "-" is a hyphen or minus sign. "_" is an underscore. Underscores are not supposed to be used for node names, instead hyphens are preferred. I think Maxime means "underscore". Here's the list from dtc/checks.c: #define LOWERCASE "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" #define UPPERCASE "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" #define DIGITS "0123456789" #define PROPNODECHARS LOWERCASE UPPERCASE DIGITS ",._+*#?-" #define PROPNODECHARSSTRICT LOWERCASE UPPERCASE DIGITS ",-" If strict mode is enabled, use of any of "._+#?" in the node name will produce a warning. -- RMK's Patch system: http://www.armlinux.org.uk/developer/patches/ FTTC broadband for 0.8mile line in suburbia: sync at 8.8Mbps down 630kbps up According to speedtest.net: 8.21Mbps down 510kbps up -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-gpio" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
