Hello, I submitted a patch to this list to fix a bug: "[PATCH] fs: allow no_seek_end_llseek to actually seek" https://marc.info/?l=linux-fsdevel&m=145468852318292&w=2 However noone seems to give it any attention, I've tried to email Al Viro, the author of the function, about it too but sofar i have not gotten anything back about this either. Meanwhile rc3 and rc4 how been released with this bug in it and i dont know what action to undertake to make sure that it will be fixed in rc5. I would like some feedback on how to actually get this patch merged.
