So how about defining macros like FMODE_FSNOTIFY_NORMAL(), FMODE_FSNOTIFY_CONTENT() and FMODE_FSNOTIFY_PRE_CONTENT() which evaluate to true if we should be sending normal/content/pre-content events to the file.
