From: Erez Zadok <ezk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Unionfs needs its own fsync and fasync instead of calling the generic file_fsync, because it may have to sync multiple writable lower branches (not just one). This also allows Unionfs to compile with CONFIG_BLOCK=n.
