Current state of NFSv4

Greetings!

As of kernel 2.6.18-rc2 (07/15/2006), NFSv4 client and server support
are marked as experimental. Can anyone comment on exactly how
experimental the support is? Is this something that is nearly
complete, or closer to the initial stages of development? Any
response is greatly welcomed.

Regards,
