That may make sense.
When will the driver report FB_{TYPE,VISUAL}_FOURCC?
  - When using a mode that cannot be represented in the legacy way,
  - But what with modes that can be represented? Legacy software cannot
    handle FB_{TYPE,VISUAL}_FOURCC.
