PROBLEM: 2.6.36-rc1+ random i915 drm freezes, one oops

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I have been experiencing frequent (~1/day) freezes of by box (Acer Travelmate
5720, intel GM965/GL960), with 2.6.36-rc1+ (vanilla, Linus' tree from git). I
could only manage to capture one oops at one of the freezes, and traced it
back to the i915 driver (I guess).

Can this trace help you at all? Is there a known issue or some steps I could
take to help you tackle it? A git I could pull experimental i915 code to test
from?

Please CC: me.

Userspace: Mandriva 2010.1, X 1.7.7, kde 4.4.3 (sucks, many display
artifacts).

Thanks
