 That's nothing urgent for me.

 No problem to postpone this change until util-linux-ng 2.15 (at end
 of this year). I believe ext4 will be pretty stable at this time :-)

 I'm already working on vol_id + blkid merge

 My plan is follow ideas and code from blkid and add a new low-level API
 for udev. That's all.
