Why the bit shuffling? Are you trying to keep the non-arch bits together? That does make sense, and I can't help but feel that EFI_ARCH_1 should probably be bit 31 so we can subtract 1 for each new arch bit so we don't have to do this constant shuffling in future. I'll need to think a bit harder about that. EFI_PARAVIRT will be usable by architectures other than x86, correct?
