WinTV-HVR-1500 analog - firmware loading problem

Hello,

I am trying to get my WinTV-HVR-1500 working. I am using the
~stoth/cx23885-audio repository, which seems to be the only one with
HVR-1500 analog support, but I am getting an error in the firmware
step for the tuner chip.

dmesg looks like this:
