Multiproto _already_has_ this implementation, while it is non-existant in S2API. When S2API doesn't have any complete implementation: true yes, the patches are really small. Void is beautiful too. DVB-S2 runtime MODCOD changes are much more complex than a simple diversity control (professional uses). It is very simple to add this use case without unnecessarily getting the user to be involved for dvb-core internals. Well it is not just diversity alone or just DVB-S2 MODCOD dynamic changes, but this can be applied in a generic fashion to any other in a similar fashion. I just did an exhaustive explanation to Patrick on his concern on diversity (or similar) control, probably he can share his thoughts in here.
