Many thanks for your assistance so far

I have compiled and installed the modules (with some problems) but now I need the (patch_sca_szap.diff) file

Unfortunately all references to the archive are for attachments that I cannot open ( I do not have the original from the linux-dvb list from early June) could someone please send me the file?

Regards to all

you can try the latest multiproto
http://jusst.de/hg/multiproto/archive/tip.tar.bz2

+

patch from Ales Jurik
http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2008-July/027264.html

szap2 with dvb-s2 support you can install from test directory of dvb-apps
http://linuxtv.org/hg/dvb-apps/file/9134736c0bea/test/

for scan you have to install the dvb-s2 patch from Jens Krehbiel-Gräther
http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2008-June/026423.html

for regular szap this patch should work too
