here, dvb seems to be recognised... how can i use it using tvtime or mythtv.
i got into tvtime, it sees only svideo and composite as input....

i found a partial solution, below,
but, i am still unable to see dvb or analog tv-in inputs for my hybrid card...
i installed mythtv, i can see only composit and svideo inputs on
mythtv backend setup, input connections..
i applyed mathius' patches... at
http://dev.gentoo.org/~zzam/dvb/a700_full_20080519.diff

how can i see all inputs of my card ?

i wrote the script below, since i do many install about this,
result is same, fail,
i/we miss something on files that we should replace/edit..

i did just as you said about /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ubuntu/
i replaced files there, with script, with manual, retried but result same...
i also replaced files in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/media


is there any idea about this ?
