Hi Patrick, Thanks for the answers... I had a few more things to ask. I noticed that the new chipset from DiBCOM is DiB7770. a. Are there any USB dongles (DVB-T) with DiB7770 chipset ? I am not sure if the latest from Pinnacle (Pinnacle PCTV nano stick) has DiB7770. b. How do we add support to these devices in the kernel ? Question on DMB .. 1. Is there no support for DMB based USB dongles ? Looking forward for your answers.. But if you want to develop software, it is not the right start, because the data sheet is mainly to help people integrate the hardware. When you use the driver from LinuxTV make sure that you follow the GPL rules when adapting it. > 3. What is the chipset that is used in 'Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T > (USB)' ? There are several devices with that name: USB2: DiB3000P TD: DiB7000P or DiB7070P Patrick. -- Mail: patrick.boettcher@xxxxxxx WWW: http://www.wi-bw.tfh-wildau.de/~pboettch/ ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
