no /dev/dvb and tuning attempt seems to run but finds no stations.

Also tried XC3028_FE_ZARLINK456 as suggested in your message (snipped) -
no difference. And tried rebooting - still no difference.

I'm a bit of a beginner in linux-dvb - any suggestions please for waht
to do next?
