Since Manu updated multiproto a couple of days ago, it is now a smaller patch away from v4l-dvb (see first attached patch). Multiproto doesn't include the mantis code so the second patch adds the latest mantis code and support for the Twinhan VP-1041. I confirmed that the Twinhan VP-1041 works with kernel 2.6.24 for DVB-S and DVB-S2. By the way I see an error message "Slave RACK Fail !" coming from mantis_ack_wait in mantis_i2c.c.
