I don't think it's about the tuner, but about the receivers in general. I've 
never had a look into the relevant standards (how could I?), but likely it's 
rather a soft- than a hardware issue.

I think it's time that the apps start to use some kind of auto scan (and 
emulate *_AUTO in sw for cards that don't support it); there are 459 dvb-t 
transmitters listed on dba/au, and it isn't nice to keep that up to date if 
some guys sometimes have the intention to adjust something ...
