Morfsta (and the list in general),

It's Manu's work and it's up to him whether he wants to merge or not.
Manu knows what people would like him to do with his multiproto patches.

The HVR4000 patches heavily depends on multiproto. No Multiproto = no
HVR4000. That's been my point since I first introduced HVR4000 support.

So, why don't _YOU_ find a way to unite the mailing list and help Manu
finish multiproto and have it merged into v4l-dvb?

I tried that on my own and I wasn't able to make much progress.

No merged patchset = No HVR4000 support.

Assuming you can, I'll reconsider my position on the HVR4000 patches
again. Until then, Mauro has been asked not to merge any HVR4000 code.
