Manu knows what people would like him to do with his multiproto patches. The HVR4000 patches heavily depends on multiproto. No Multiproto = no HVR4000. That's been my point since I first introduced HVR4000 support. So, why don't _YOU_ find a way to unite the mailing list and help Manu finish multiproto and have it merged into v4l-dvb? I tried that on my own and I wasn't able to make much progress. No merged patchset = No HVR4000 support. Assuming you can, I'll reconsider my position on the HVR4000 patches again.
