I just wanted to say that the IR works perfectly now. I havent gotten around to testing the digital and analog streams yet, I am hoping tomorrow night I will get to add the card as another tuner in mythtv and make sure it is working properly. I should be able to just type cat /dev/vide0 > test.mpg to test it right?
