Did you install an alsa update?

The v4l-dvb repository expects the ALSA drivers to be the same as what
is found in your kernel version -- if you updated them yourself, or
installed a newer alsa package, that would explain your symbol version
conflicts.

You don't need cx88-alsa to work anyway, unless you plan to use analog
video and pass the audio over DMA.  Digital TV works without it.
