My mistake, these two Philips ICs aren't ADC's, but rather they are more simply analog multiplexers/demultiplexers for the expansion A/V input/outputs.   They likely should  just work (i.e. no driver required).
Unlike the earlier cx2388[0-4] family (which can only handle decoding of TV-in audio, and not audio from external analog A/V sources), the cx23887 appears to be able to provide full audio decoding.
