They may give you the stock answer, or they may just not push this request into engineering. Most likely their request will land on my desk, in which case I tend to give them a stock answer.... 'Nothing Yet, nothing announced'. I will publish the CI doc here as soon as it's available though. > > Reverse engineering the protocol was on my todo list, XP here I come... > If you have a specific USB sniffer software in mind, I'd be interested to get a reference from you. Nothing specific springs to mind although I suspect many other members can recommend something. Way back, I used a USB Sniffer and it's name escapes me. It was a free tool. try googling for USB sniffer, Sniff USB, USB logger etc. > > As for integrating with the demux interface, I would initially be happy implementing a command line utility that descrambles stored recordings > (something I've been bugging this list with for weeks now ..) Ok, sounds good. > > Your help in this endeavor will be very much appreciated, let me know how you'd like to organize things. Great. Let me push internally for the document to be released to the public, feel free to ping me privately at my stoth at hauppauge.com account mid-to-late Jan if nothing has been published.
