It uses different firmware than the normal cx25840 driver already present in Linux. As such, to support analog, I also have to push some patches into that driver for the differing registers (and firmware). Analog preview and analog encoder running well in lab conditions and they are pretty stable, but I need to spend quality time cherry picking pieces from multiple development trees to build something acceptable to the linuxtv community.
