NOVA-T-Stick problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I recently got a Nova-T-Stick (USB 2040:7060) and cannot get it to work.
First I tried the drivers from Debian's 2.6.22-2 kernel, and then
http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb as of a few hours ago and the firmware
from
http://www.wi-bw.tfh-wildau.de/~pboettch/home/linux-dvb-firmware/dvb-usb-dib0700-1.10.fw
I renamed the firmware to dvb-usb-dib0700-03-pre1.fw.

My problem is that I cannot get any data out of the dvr0 device.
$ cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
does not produce any output, and
$ mplayer /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
doesn't work either.

Before trying to view the stream I have managed to find the channels and
tune as described below. Am I doing anything fundamentally wrong?

Any help is greatly apreciated as I am running out of ideas to try.

Thanks
/Fredrik

Scanning works and finds all my channels:
$ scan /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/se-Horby_Sallerup >channels.conf
scanning /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/se-Horby_Sallerup
